Open-source software

FamilyHub is open source. The code is on GitLab under its respective license. You're free to use, modify, and distribute it.

FamilyHub Cloud

When using FamilyHub Cloud:

• I provide the hosted service with reasonable uptime and regular backups
• The 14-day trial gives full access to everything, free of charge
• After the trial, you need an active subscription to keep using Cloud
• You can export all your data at any time
• I reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

Self-hosted

When you self-host FamilyHub, you're responsible for:

• Your own infrastructure, backups, and security
• Keeping your credentials safe
• Compliance with applicable laws
• Any API keys and external subscriptions you set up

External services

FamilyHub integrates with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Photos, and Immich. Their terms apply to your use of those services.

Your data

You own everything you put into FamilyHub, whether on Cloud or self-hosted. Export your calendar as ICS, access everything via the API. It's your data.

FamilyHub is provided "as is" without warranty. I'm not liable for any damages from using this software. Use at your own risk.

Changes

These terms may be updated occasionally. Changes are tracked in the project repository.
